Bruce Springsteen tickets

It took 3 of us an hour and a half this morning to finally end up with 2 tickets to see Bruce in May. You have to go through one web site that opens up at 9 a.m. which instantly crashed. My daughter was on one pc, my partner on another and I was manning the phone. Four times one of us was close to getting tickets when the web site crashed again and we lost them. I had given up hope when suddenly I saw a confirmation message.

So my DD and I are off to see the Boss again. 6th time for me 3rd for her. Just shows I'm not quite past it yet. And, by coincidence, my DP and me are off to see Runrig tonight. I don't usually have this much excitement in my life!!

Lucky you! We saw Bruce a few years ago at the Emirates stadium, he was fantastic. Just days before his 60th birthday, and he was on the move constantly. Would love to see him again but there weren't many venues this time were there?

My number 3 son asked me to get him tickets via my RBS account. Sadly, I had to tell him I cancelled that account last month.

Fortunately, a friend has got him tickets, so Old Man and I won't be going into the care home just yet.

We booked for Wembley Stadium this morning. My daughter and I both logged on but she got seats first. From what we could make out, Wembley virtually sold out in 10 minutes. I've lost count of the number of times I have seen Bruce but it's always a great evening and the best concerts are always in the open air. It's good to know there are other grains on here who like to rock.

Managed to get DH tickets for Hampden this morning without too much trouble-nearly booked in an area entitled 'Royal' but lost them! Wonder if it had special extra comfy seats and a loo???

NonnaW - there were just 3 dates in England, 2 in Ireland and 1 in Scotland. I was trying for Coventry which did seem to be very popular, I ended up with Manchester!

It's great to know there are other Boss fans here on Gransnet. He is a couple of years older than me, so I keep saying as long as he is prepared to get up on the stage for his marathon performances, then I shall try to get to see him again. Just dancing to him for 3 hours wears me out, I don't know how he manages it. Always a wide selection of ages in the audience too.

Just come back from the Runrig gig. Another excellent show, these older performers still have a lot to give.
