Morning Mick, morning all!

It is not so cold but still dark in North Leicestershire. The forecast is for wind and rain. Today I am helping DD1 pack up their house for moving unless Mum has another crisis!

Morning all.
Windy and grey in N Kent with rain forecast. It'll probably start just as I leave for my appointment with the practice nurse.

Good morning all, it is REALLY dark here, I thought it was much earlier than it was, when I got up, and it is raining again. Never mind had two really lovely sunny days even though they were fold. Think the freezer is on the blink again, so we have a man coming to look at that today, I hope he has to pull it out of it hole, then I can clean behind it! Enjoy your days.

Good morning from a grey but warmer Colchester. We are the far East of the country so the rain will not reach us until later. Better get off GN and get the weekend shopping in!

Good morning everyone.
As forecast, it's wet and windy in the Tyne Valley. A day for indoor jobs, must wash all DH's trousers as we suspect he might have brought cat fleas home with him. He has mysterious itchy spots!!!
Have a good day, whatever the weather.

Good morning all.
Dark and wet in Stockport.
For the first time for years I don't feel 100% this morning.I have coughed all night and have a husky voice. Although I dread being ill I can't help being miffed that H is ignoring it completely as now he is the centre of the universe with his condition.?

Morning All from a very wet corner of Somerset. Empty fridge so have to shop. Hope Friday is kind to you.

Galen Fri 22-Jan-16 09:27:21

Wet in North Somerset as well

flowers annsixty, that's a hard one. He may be unwilling or unable to contemplate you being ill as it is a frightening prospect. You may have to make your own Lemsip and fend for yourself, but can you make it easier by either involving the help of friends to get essentials for you and/or an Internet shop to include lots of EASY things, tinned soup, cheese, bread, ready meals etc.
Think back to when your children were little. . .
Not being unsympathetic, DH would not even be able to bring me a cup of tea in bed (even if it occurred to him)
Get well soon!
