Been on Radio4 Brain of Britain and tv 15 to 1 with Robert Stewart a few years ago. Recorded for The Chase a few months ago, it won't be seen until January.
Think Pointless with DS might be fun and have failed to find enough friends for Eggheads!!

Myself DD and OH were filmed by channel 4 news taking the first Euros from a hole in the wall when Ireland joined the Monetary thingy

I was interviewed for Woman's Hour in 1969/70 on an item on youth hosteling. Couldn't listen to it as I was at work!

I've been interviewed on Bangladesh TV 3 times!

I have been on two TVS programmes. Both times singing in a choir.

Not really, only on Gardeners' Question Time for a couple of minutes!

I was interviewed on breakfast radio. It was a piece about adults who were tracing birth parents after being adopted and I knew my colleagues were all listening in so I was very nervous. I still have a copy of the recording and think I sounded much posher than I am (nerves showing I think), but I was very pleased that I answered all the questions and managed to sound coherent and knowledgeable.

I have been on local radio a few times and DH was on Esther Rantzen.

In the mid 80s I was on a children's TV programme with Floella Benjamin. It showed me teaching a class of infant children, as part of the programme.

The most interesting part for me, was seeing how a programme is produced.

When I was about 9, I and 5 others from my Brownie pack appeared on The Tonight programme. We spent a very long, cold day as I remember, being filmed skipping and running about collecting leaves and twigs and generally doing jolly Brownie activities at Shirley Hills near Croydon and when the piece went out later that week it lasted less than 2 minutes. So that is my claim to fame

I've been on local radio and in the paper because of being a Gransnet Local Editor. I am also on the GN make up video.
I have been in tv audiences but have never spotted myself.

I reviewed Procol Harum's latest LP on local radio when I was about 15. I didn't like it the LP - shows what I know!

More recently, I was delivering some stuff to the library and, as I wasn't going to be long, I didn't bother changing from my gardening scruffs. It was only when I walked in that I remembered that local TV were doing a piece about recently taken over Community Libraries. I declined to be interviewed but I could do nothing to stop the piece (with me in the background) going out. The only saving grace is that I looked so awful I'm hoping no-one recognised me!

At the risk of being a bore, having mentioned this on here before - I have a picture of myself and a few other people sitting behind the Beatles at a recording of a TV programme in 1965. I have spoken on local radio a few times about my many Beatles escapades in the '60s. Every time there is a Beatles anniversary of some sort the above mentioned picture is wheeled out in the local press. I feel that I ought to have royalties

Anyone remember Nationwide? I was on it in 1980. I wrote in to their consumer spot complaining about excess packaging on men's shirts.
Six months later a director, camera man and sound man turned up at my house and proceeded to film me buying a shirt in a local shop, then unwrapping it at home and counting all the pins, bits of plastic etc.
Filming it was great fun and I loved it, but when they showed in on the tele about 3 weeks later I ran from the room screaming at the ghastliness of my appearance and my awful Devonshire accent!

I was a contestant on Fifteen-to-One in 1997, shown on July 4th of that year. Didn`t win, but wasn`t first off either.

By the way, a couple of years ago, someone suggested a Gransnet team for Eggheads, but nothing came of it. Anyone interested?

have taken part in phone in competitions on local radio, have also appeared disguised heavily on tv,for children in need supporting a Domestic violence charity,my home my dog and my GD featured,BBC visited and filmed in my home

When I worked for Mystery Shoppers I did so many radio interviews for various BBC stations that I lost count, also interviewed by Eddie Mair for PM, exdh, ds1 & I also appeared in a commercial for Barratt Homes.

Plus stuff in local press, and a feature with photograph in the property section of the Daily Telegraph!

I could be glimpsed briefly on an Easter Songs of Praise about 20 years ago. 10 years or so ago I was on Ken Bruce's Popmaster, was nerve wracking! Didn't do too badly with 18 points but my opponent won. So I got a memo microphone!

Excited that GS happened to be in shot several times in audience at the first 2015 Royal Institution Lecture on Surviving in Space.

I am a mum of a guy who is famous and snuggles into his jacket and looks ridiculous with his baseball cap etc when he takes me shopping. (We do that cos we must eat). He went to a party who nobody knew him and he enjoyed himself. Being famous sucks because he is shy and all he gets is yabba yabba. He enjoyed that party until they knew who he was.
His school mates put up with him thank goodness because he would not be able to cope with the rubbish otherwise.

Am wondering who that is Greenockgran ? Somebody who is Scottish obviously , hmmn, nope, no idea.

i was interviewed by our local TV news programme - at 3 in the morning! We had gone to see the Tinsley Towers blown up, I think we felt we'd be observing history in the making
Shocked by how many people recognised me, no make up, hair scraped back.......

About 35 years ago I took part in a live discussion on local radio speaking from home on the telephone at 6am - it was a disaster I was so nervous I spoke too fast and didn't get invited to answer any further questions! . I was also in a room with about ten other people at a meeting being filmed for part of an 'Everyman' tv program being made about our Faith (Baha'i ). When it was shown, it only included a few minutes out of the hour filming, I think one of my feet appeared....
