If you Google "On This Day " the first result is that in 1985 Rock Hudson became the first major US celebrity to die from the complications of AIDS.

They were very brave, those early labourites. Society had and still has, a lot to thank them for. They were needed at that time.

Perhaps Jetemy Corbyn was born in the wrong time. He seems to be very much of that ilk.
