It's a damp start in North Leicestershire but the forecast is for a sunny day.

Today, I will be taking loads of 'stuff' to Dd3 in South Leics and then doing a school run in Derby! Hope the rain holds off.

The dew has done it's job overnight to prevent the garden from completely gasping for moisture, and it's going to be another beautiful day. Still ... no ... rain ...!

Supposed to clear up later here. It's the humidity that I don't like.
It's St Swithins day so it had better dry up or we're in for a wet Summer.

Up early as we have DGS1 here today and he will be dropped off any minute now.

(Senior moment yesterday - it was Ingatestone Hall we visited. Good thing the coach driver knew where he was going! Excellent trip)

Very dull here in Chelmsford but no rain so far. Because this is such a dry part of the country our garden is mostly planted so that we don't need to water much except for containers and as we have got older we have cut down on those.

Dry at the moment in The Forest of Dean, Glos but not sure how long for.

Sunny and breezy in NE Cheshire, and the BBC forecast for the rest of the day is good. I choose to believe it!
