Sunny here too - but with scudding clouds - some of which have black bottoms.

Had a bit of a deluge here last evening so the garden is looking all fresh and bright. The sparrows are chirping noisily, flitting all over the place followed by their fledglings and picking all the black flies off my broad beans. Bless 'em

Hospital appointment today, but at least it will be the "right" day!

It's a bright sunny start in north Leicestershire as well! And yet another Thursday trip to Sainsbury's and a visit to mum. I still haven't put my plants in yet so I really ought to make that a priority, again!

Must get up soon as I'm off to West Sussex for a crafting day. I will then go via my sisters in Surrey before coming home to East Sussex. About 150 miles in all.
It's a lovely day for it though if I can stop sneezing!

Good morning from Colchester. Breezy here this morning blowing cloud across the sun. Downpour last night means the humidity of yesterday has gone. Looks like a nice day- I don't do hot!

Dentist and hygienist this morning, fun.

Lovely day out - so will garden today. Yesterday went to Mottisfont and loved the gardens of roses - I don't think I have ever seen such colour in any garden before absolutely glorious.

Now I have to think of a way of including some roses - I want eglatine and harow carr - think one way would be to have a couple of standards then I wouldn't loose any underplanting.
