I've just heard on the News that Keith Harris has died. When the DGCs were small we had a family holiday at Butlins where KH and Orville were top of the bill.

He was brilliant. The kids loved him especially three year old DGD2 who insisted on spending the rest of the holiday walking around with a bath towel draped around her shoulders.

When asked why she was doing a regal wave to an imaginary audience she replied,

'I'm King Harris, of course' grin

RIP

Cant remember any pet names for entertainers, but when my DD was at Playgroup she insisted on calling the 3 ladies in charge the Blue Lady, the White Lady and the Big Lady. I don't think I ever did know their real names - and even if I did I could never think of them as anything else.

The same DGD, yes, she does have a weird imagination, used to play Phantom of the Opera with her brother and sister. She always insisted on being 'Fant' grin

We could only assume his surname was Umm.

I can't remember any names but we saw keith Harris too, on the bill with Cannon and Ball. My mum took a picnic and we all sat in the audience eating butties and drinking tea from a flask, very classy. My sister has a picture with Keith, she was about 12 months at the time. God bless him and his green duck.
