Good morning everyone, up bright and early this morning as we are off to the eye clinic and hope that the cataract operation has proved successful, it seems so, but final check up today. A beautiful morning here, and I think it is forecast to stay the same for the next few days. Enjoy your days.

It is misty and cold in North Leicestershire and we are sitting in an unheated waiting room awaiting the train to St Pancras where we will have breakfast before setting off for our holiday! Can you tell I'm excited!! We booked a taxi early enough that getting stuck in traffic wouldn't matter so, of course, there was no traffic, we are 40 minutes early, the shop is not open and there is no cafe!

A beautiful morning again in Bideford - off out for a little walk along the Tarka Trail later.

Apparently the rain will arrive on Sunday, and Theseus is most put out as there is a vintage car tour over the moor (beginning with bacon butties in a pub and ending with a cream tea!! ) He has an MG B and, while it is great with the roof down in the sunshine, it is awful with the roof up in the rain. You can't see a thing, because the windscreen is so small. And guess who's navigating....?

Bright sunny morning in NE Cheshire. Was lying in bed this morning when a face appeared at the window - not the window cleaner this thime - a collar dove, looking straight at me, followed by another one, doing the same. They waddled off, evidently satisfied that I wasn't a burglar.

Morning all. We got back yesterday from nearly a month in USA. It was lovely to spend time with DS1 & family, but we were all poorly and I have come back with a cough and am still 'bunged up' with catarrh. I really want to stay in bed but there is washing to do and the garden to tackle, so I'd better get going.

Dh had an MGB when we met and had flirted with a few others since so I quite envy you the rally Ariadne unless it rains of course!!

Nina you are not as old as my butcher's parents yet, surely!!

Glorious day here in Wiltshire, have just got back from shopping and a trip to the garden centre -not intending to buy anything of course but.......two tomato plants, one courgette, three perennials (cheaper to buy 3), two tomato grow bags later and of course I had to have a coffee in the sunshine...... It's all pompa's fault for talking about garden centres!

Now to unpack everything and start the housework!

A beautiful day, needed my thick coat first thing but now it has warmed up.
Lambs are growing. Saw a rook sat on a bulls back taking hair - cheeky.

Just off out for lunch with a couple of friends.

Beautiful day and I managed to walk all the way down to the "farm turn" (as we call it) for the first time since my op in September. So I will have covered a mile there and back - steep hill on way down, steep hill on way back. That may not sound like much to many of you - but believe me it is quite an achievement!

That's a huge achievement Mishap, well done
I remember what it felt like managing to walk that distance minus crutches after smashing my ankle - I was at least 7 months post-surgery. I hope you take it easy for the rest of the day!
