It's a bright (ish) start here in North Leicestershire and we are promised a cold day but with some sun.

Today we are going for my Mother's Day lunch after I catered for 10 last weekend. DH and I are going to a lovely pub overlooking Rutland Water with a visit to that famous garden (Geoff thingy's ) if we get time. Also, today I will watch Richard III's procession on the tv.

Good morning to you all, a little chilly here and cloudy. Our son coming to lunch today, something he always enjoys - two helpings of roast dinner, followed by cheese and biscuits - he prefers that to a sweet, but will also have the sweet if given the opportunity. Enjoy your days.

why does it feel so much colder than the temperature according to the weather man? I think it is freezing and most unpleasant.

whitewave my outdoor temperature here in the Algarve reads 14C. It's pouring with rain and feels very cold indoors. We have the fire on.
