Weather forecast doesn't look particularly inspiring so I have nothing to distract me from getting on with studying (unfortunately!)

It's clear and cold here in North Leicestershire and there was a frost overnight . Our forecast isn't brilliant, with rain expected later.

Today, I am waiting in for Rangemaster, again, to repair their repair and ringing BG to mend the boiler they have mended twice before!

Bright and frosty here in N.Staffs. We are going to the funeral this morning that we went to last Monday, just a week early! Right time wrong week!

Our oven is beyond repair too kitty 'no parts available', which is cooker repair man speak for 'no PCBs' as everything seems to hinge on that vital bit these days. Hope you have more luck with yours.

Hi kitty, hope the repair engineers arrive, so frustrating having to wait for them.
I live in Wiltshire and starting a course to get my lapsed NMC PIN number back so I can return to nursing.
It includes academic essay-writing which I last did 16 years ago so brain cells struggling!

Morning all - very wet and windy on the Ards Peninsula this morning.

My cooker isn't beyond repair Juliette but we recently paid £!70 to have two rings that didn't light by pushing the button, mended. One still doesn't!!!!

Don't envy you the studying, loopy but it's always nice to know where people are speaking from.

Good morning all. It's a gloomy morning here in NE Cheshire, but so far it seems to be dry. The camellia I thought wasn't going to flower is struggling into bloom!

Sunny but with a cold wind and overnight frost. The forecast for later
is not too good. We'll see.
Re repairs to gas appliances, almost everyone I know who has needed such a service finds that it takes more than one visit to get the thing sorted. You don't always get the same engineer on a second visit and they disagree with the fault. A 90 year old friend of mine (who could have done without the hassle) was told by one that her 18 month old boiler had been wrongly installed, the second one said that was rubbish and gave another reason and it took a third visit before the fault was recitified. Meanwhile she was without heating.

Builders have arrived next door and want me to move my car so they can put a skip outside for a week! In front of my sitting room window!

Good morning to you all, very late this morning, it is quite cloudy after the really fine mornings we have had. It was our wedding anniversary yesterday, but we did not special - had too many of them probably. Enjoy your days.

Very dull here - and windy and chilly. Spent night with pain, pain, pain - this * hip! The op was supposed to make it better not worse! I have to keep believing that I will get there one day.

Visiting friend's new house today; then more tidying (sigh) and a school governor meeting later.

Yes I agee with the "Cheshire set" dull,chilly and just started raining.
I was quite shocked this a.m. as I have woken up with a slight sore throat and a very runny nose and I don't do colds,I havn't had one for several years.

Dull and pretty windy here.....nothing new there, what trees we have grow at 45 degree angle!! Off to see costume ladies today then gym for an hour. Stir fry for tea so no prep.
