Can't pay...we'll take it away.

Did anyone see this last night? I could not believe that DSS thought that an income of £200 per month was sufficient for the entire needs of a family of 3. What was even worse was the housing dept seemed to be unconcerned that a vulnerable family - including two small children - wouid literally be on the street. There's something very wrong here.

I saw a couple of these programs when they were on at the back end of last year Katek Some terribly sad stories involving people who have found themselves in the most desperate situations through no fault of their own. On the other side of the coin there were people who deliberately try and get away with paying what they rightfully owe. Some of the bailiffs seemed to actually revel in their work whilst others did appear to recognize the genuine people who have fallen on hard times from the ones who could easily pay but chose not to.
