It's still dark here in North Leicestershire but very cold as the boiler is broken! . I was going to visit mum today but I'm thinking that I'll move in - its always warm there! The 'error' message says 'FO' which isn't very polite, is it?

Same in this part of Essex nannotgran. Brilliant sunshine but the water in the bird bath is frozen.
My sympathies with everyone who has had a bad night. Me too. I seem to have been awake most of the night with only short periods of not very deep sleep. I sometimes think it would be a good idea to get up and do something for half an hour but it is too cold.

It is so cold and frosty in NW London that I do not fancy the idea of scraping frost off my car but it must be done. Tara my cat has the right idea, she is still asleep on my bed.

Lovely sunny frosty morning here in N Kent. DH has out patients appointment this afternoon. He doesn't drive, and they are never on time so I shall be sat there for ages too ggrr !

Morning all, it's damp and not very bright here. I think I may do some serious lolling before I tackle the resident dust.

Good morning from a grey, damp north east. Yesterday we had a severe frost all day and even at 2am it was crisp and sparkling but at 7.30 this morning it had all melted.
I am going out for lunch with my friend and we will exchange gifts now that the family celebrations are over.

A very late good morning to you all, a bad nights' sleep, so overslept. At least it was a bit warmer when I finally emerged. Not a lot planned for the day except to keep warm. Enjoy your days

Cold and sunny in Cornwall. Nothing planned for today. I may wrap up warm and go for a walk; the fire is lit and I have some knitting for when I come back.

Just popped in to say good morning all. I can use my laptop again now that it has reappeared from under my sewing equipment. My dining room is multi purpose and I sometimes loose my computer under all my other junk useful creative tools.

It is a bright fresh morning here in Chester. I am just off to stock up on healthy food that my granddaughter will actually eat, and then a nice leisurely walk with oh and dog this afternoon.

Morning all. My wool has just arrived for my next crochet project. ITS IN HANKS! I've now sent off for a winder and holder!

Dog to vet today - poorly paw - had to walk as too slippery for car - we are at the top of a steep hill.
Just spent the morning finding and changing to a better current account - part of my NY Resolutions to sort the money out!

Hard overnigh frost has now gone and some cloud has bubbled up so hopefully it will be a liitle milder.
