What tells your five senses it's Christmas?

Sight........the Christmas lights

Sound.......sleighbells

Smell.......roast chestnuts

Taste......mince pies

Touch.....frost nipping my nose

Sight. Definitely sight.
The christmas tree up in our house.
Not up yet, I dont like it up too early. So it's not christmas here yet!

Sight...christmas tree

Sound... definitely christmas carols

Smell...difficult. Log fire?

Taste...early christmas dinner in a restaurant[happening tomorrow, yippee!]

Touch...icy weather? A sparkly scratcy christmas jumper?

Sight- crowds and traffic jams
Sounds- tills brass bands playing Christmas carols
Smell- scented candles ( especially cinnamon)
Taste - ginger wine or Bailey's(hard choice)
Touch - bubble wrap as I open the Amazon pRcels

Sight....Lights in the High St.

Sounds.......Christmas songs on the radio

Smell....Pine and cinnamon

Taste......Christmas pud

Touch.....pine needles

sight...... staggering drunks in the High St at lunchtime wearing Christmas hats.
sounds....... Noddy Holder screaming 'It's Christmaaaaaas!' in the stores.
smell...... cinnamon candles in the garden centre.
taste..... the first Baileys of the season [we opened it last night].
touch..... furry gloves [which I wore today going out as it was so cold here.]
6th sense.... snow[or floods] on the horizon. tchshock

When my Dad died I really missed the smell of a cigar on Christmas Day. It was the only day of the year he smoked one.

Sight - DH stacking logs. We have to bring them up from the field so we need enough for at least a week.

Sound - The chain saw (see above) and my Christmas compilation music that I download each year so I can play it in the kitchen while I'm making mince pies etc.

Taste - The first mince pie - with a glass of sherry, of course.

Touch - All the greenery that I drag in from the garden and sore fingers from wiring stuff on to wreaths.
