Limerick writing Mark 4 (animal, vegetable and mineral)

(Hello Nankate I'm here, but not sure about the grey cells at this time of night!)

(Oh well, here goes!)

The cauliflower danced with the cheese

The carrots also looked pleased.

(Thanks Mini for getting the 4th show on the road)

The donkey ate three

The horse had a wee.

And the brown cow just stood there and wheezed.

The diamonds are sparkling so bright.

And the pearls are gleaming so white

The cats were dazzled

The mice felt frazzled.

And the elephant fainted with fright!

(Where's everybody else gone? Did their satnav not reroute them from No 3? Is she doing her/his "recalculating route" thing?)

I once tried to make carborundum

With some coal, cabbage and bibbendum

(Found you again at last!)

And the monkey went up on a kite.

The owl twitter wooed.

The wise owl fluorite up to the sky

Mini have you been on the sherry again?

First line - the wise owl flew right up to the sky

Second line - and peered far down to the fat juicy fly

Then thought, Stone the crows, he must die!
