You seem a bit lonely here so good morning! I'm off to the Country Living Fair in London with my daughter this morning.

Good morning all, what a really dark and dreary morning this morning, thought it was earlier than it was because it was so dark, lovely cloud formation now though. Son coming to have lunch with us today, after a quick visit to the pub, otherwise a quiet day. Enjoy your days.

Morning all! Pale blue sky wall to wall smudging into pale clouds at horizons.

ninathenana Sun 16-Nov-14 08:15:51

Morning all.

Damp here in N Kent with no wind but it looks like it might brighten.

Been worried all night about DD she was driving from Kent to Newcastle after work last night. Said she'd text when she arrived. No reply from her or the person she was going to see. sad

Hope she gets in touch today, nina, or replies to a text from you

Good Morning everyone from a light grey morning in Lancashire. There's a real damp Autumn feel and the trees are almost bare now.
Some tidying up in the garden to do I think before the rain returns!

kittylester Sun 16-Nov-14 08:29:11

A misty moisty morning hereabouts. Going for a walk in the woods later.

daffydil Sun 16-Nov-14 09:28:50

Hallo everyone.
Damp amd misty here in mid Essex too. No particular plans for the day but must factor in an exercise session as outlined by the physiotherapist yesterday. Exciting stuff eh?hmm.
Incidentally, could someone tell me how to type a name in bold print.

nannotgran Sun 16-Nov-14 09:49:25

Damp and misty in north essex this morning as well.I would like to know how to type a bold name as well please

Nanabelle Sun 16-Nov-14 09:50:03

Tipping down with straight rain here on the IOW. I was going out for a walk, but too late. And I also need to plant my bulbs - do hope this afternoon is better as at the moment it looks like it is set in for the day.

ninathenana Sun 16-Nov-14 09:53:09

To make a name bold type * at the beginning and end with no spaces.

If you scroll down below this box it tells you how to do other actions such as smile

whitewave Sun 16-Nov-14 09:56:04

Dark clouds but had a dry walk. Darling dog had a fight with a border collie this morning. We usually to put both on the lead as they always swear at each other when passing but this morning unfortunately met on a corner. Sounded as if they were killing each other, but no problems. On the lead all the way back with me moaning at him!! Not that he took a blind bit of notice - had clearly enjoyed himself immensely.

daffydil Sun 16-Nov-14 09:59:39

Thanks ninathenana. I had looked at the instructions for smiley faces etc but hadn't twigged the bold one.

nannotgran Sun 16-Nov-14 11:25:27

hello

nannotgran Sun 16-Nov-14 11:27:02

hi

Lona Sun 16-Nov-14 11:30:50

Morning all grin
Gloomy and autumnal here, I'm still in my pjs so must get ready and go out for a brisk walk. I'm feeling stiff everywhere after exercise class yesterday.
Blaming the weather doesn't make it go away!

Cup of coffee first though wink

Lona Sun 16-Nov-14 11:32:12

nannot if you want to test them out just 'preview' and then delete, instead of actually posting.

hildajenniJ Sun 16-Nov-14 11:48:36

Hello everyone.
Cold, foggy start in Northumberland today. DS coming for lunch so I'm making a rich beef stew. Some sort of fruit crumble for pudding perhaps.

dustyangel Sun 16-Nov-14 12:02:09

Morning all, a bright sunny day, as far as I can tell. I'm flat on my back in bed obeying instructions after overdoing it a bit yesterday. I'm not in real pain,..until I try to stand upright.
Thank goodness for iPads and Gransnet. [sunshine

Greenfinch Sun 16-Nov-14 12:36:20
