As I get older (I'm 78) I find that I seem to be more interested in the past than the future. eg my obsession with WW2, I'm going to try to cut that out of my life. And Rootschat, the olden days in my home town. Hanging onto old clothes.
Part of the problem is that health problems are starting to limit what I'm physically capable of doing. eg visiting friends and family, (we live in rural France) gardening etc. It could be driving next, which would be really serious.
I need to start to plan for things in the future instead of wondering how I'm going to cope with what today throws at me, especially with winter coming on.
I don't want to turn into an old misery - any ideas for planning ahead etc?

' feeling. But I do agree about planning things to look forward to, especially holidays.
