Child Eyes - indecent tabloid displays in supermarkets

I remember this being raised many, many years ago and I'm surprised nothing has been done. Over here, children's comics are not on the same display case (locally anyway) as newspapers.

It is about ears as well. I worry about the news items that are read out throughout the day when children are listening. There are many that I would not want to have to explain to a small child with big ears.

Mishap. Quiet right. My DD is on constant alert.
Do any of you remember the campaign called 'Top Shelf' I was very involved with that.
Only today I had a reply from Levi jeans replying to my complaint about there latest advert which is on before the water shed.
Water shed or not. It's very distasteful. They told me that because of the nature of my complaint (sexual) they had passed it to the Advertising standards agency. I'll probably get back the usual, blah blah blah.

DD is also on constant alert and has complained on a few occasions re what is displayed beside childrens comics and one ocassion complained to a radio station re the content of a news item.

In a card shop recently I couldn't miss the crude message, in large print on a greeting card. Something I wouldn't like any child to read never mind my own GDs and complained to the manager. Fortunately she agreed with me and removed the cards.
