Morning all, bit too early to tell yet here!

NfkDumpling Thu 29-May-14 07:21:59

Dark and damp here this morning. The forecast is better for this afternoon and the weekend and I dooo soo hope they have it right. Off for a long weekend at Sandringham - caravan site not staying with Her Maj - and warm dry weather would really be appreciated!

Have a lovely day and weekend everybody. sunshine

(It's just started raining again. Oh, joy)

Good morning and another not very certain morning, in fact I think it has just started raining. I was lucky yesterday, managed to get a big wash dry - Ohhhhhh the ironing! Hope the sun shines for you Nfk Enjoy your days everyone

Wet and drizzle all day yesterday whilst my daughter 19 miles away was dry all day. Today here in East Sussex it's another drizzle day. Grey and damp. Deep joy.
On Saturday I am hoping the local meeting in Burgess Hill is still on.

Morning all.
Yet again a grey day sad Having haircut this afternoon, can't wait, it's driving me mad.

NanKate Thu 29-May-14 08:02:47

Morning Mick and all.

Brightening up in the Thames Valley.

My older sister is arriving for 4 days, although it's nice to see her I do find catering and entertaining visitors/family is so draining.

Galen Thu 29-May-14 08:31:33

Grey and mizzly

Agus Thu 29-May-14 08:42:36

A grey day yet again, but, it's not raining so that's a plus!

Lona Thu 29-May-14 08:44:49

Morning all, it's not supposed to rain here but....I'm not holding my breath!

I'm so tired after a disturbed night, awake since 4am. Bloody family traumas are wearing me out, does it ever end?

Agus Thu 29-May-14 09:06:57

Lona flowers. A night like that certainly doesn't help us to think straight.
If it's not raining, enjoy a coffee at your new bistro set and just look after yourself today. Drives you crazy doesn't it?

Dragonfly1 Thu 29-May-14 09:08:06

Oh Lona, flowers. Maybe you could fit in some power naps to catch up? Grey and frankly miserable here in Staffs. And I have a poorly vomiting dog. Took her to the vet yesterday - I blame eating sheep poo on Monday. Anyway she hasn't been sick now since about seven last night and seems brighter. Also looking for her breakfast - yesterday she didn't want food. This happens at least twice a year - seems she has a sensitive stomach. Thank goodness for pet insurance.

Agus Thu 29-May-14 09:12:36

Our dogs used to eat cow pats and the vet always recommended boiled rice to settle their stomach.

Hallo very drizzly here in Leicestershire , poured yesterday but I must make a move out today - library I think. Like many places its use it or lose it with our library so I had better go and borrow some books today and maybe a Wetherspoons lunch as its immediately opposite and DH likes a nice cheap pint. I feel for nankate (how do you do that enbolden thing please?) had my sister and family last weekend and am just getting straight and it was knackering.

Dragonfly1 Thu 29-May-14 09:19:11

You won't believe this Agus but she can't eat rice or any other sort of grain! The first bout of digestive upset she had at six months old (she had campylobacter from goose poo!) left her with a really sensitive gut. Grain of any sort sets it off. I have to feed her on food that's grain free. Nightmare!

Lona Thu 29-May-14 09:21:30

Agus and Dragonfly grin Don't make me laugh, the bistro set is probably rusty by now!

annodomini Thu 29-May-14 09:24:38

I can confirm that this Cheshire morning is no time for an alfresco breakfast!

Lona Thu 29-May-14 09:25:28

Dragonfly As far as I know, rice isn't a grain, it's a different plant altogether. I'm intolerant to grains but rice is ok.

Nelliemoser Thu 29-May-14 09:27:24

Good Morning, Its looking damp here but was not raining about five minutes ago when I stepped outside the back door.

ninathenanny What are you going to say when you are asked if you are "doing anything nice this weekend" wink

Dragonfly1 Thu 29-May-14 09:40:33

Grain or not, rice + mutt = puke/poo!

Lona Thu 29-May-14 13:28:43

Dragonfly grin Ok I get it!

suebailey1 Thu 29-May-14 13:57:01

Glass of Shiraz in Wetherspoons was very mellowing cant see the rain now.
