Yet another grey cloudy day here in Brackley.

Good morning, it has been raining here in North Devon, but now there is a hint of blue sky, so will probably be a mix of sun & showers.

Morning Mick and all.

Grey in the Thames Valley.

Going to play Rummykub with WI friends today and then at cup of tea time we are going to surprise one of our members by whisking her off to a local restaurant for a cream tea to celebrate her recent 70th birthday. cupcake

Good morning all!

It is pouring here in North Leicestershire, both outside and in the hallsad. Phone call to the roofman first thing I think!

DD2 and family left yesterday after a week here with her sister. DD3 and her two ate still here and look like being here for the foreseeable future.

I ought to be sorting clothes out for next week's holiday (free - thank you GNHQ) but I'm not sure I have the enerrgy!

Enjoy your days everyone , especially Nankate sunshine

Good morning Mick and everyone. It's damp and muggy in S Staffs this morning. Eldest littlie will be here for breakfast soon - even though it's half term and mummy is at home, he's insisting that he 'needs' to come to Nanny's for breakfast because he always does on Tuesdays. 'You'll miss me if I don't, Nanny'...... Love that child! Have lovely days, everyone.

PRINTMISS Tue 27-May-14 07:51:40

Good morning to you all, the sun was shining, clouding over now, so I think it is going to be that sort of day. Had a lovely afternoon yesterday with our daughter & son-in-law. He at the moment has all sorts of problems with his mum, and I think it did him good to talk to someone else (other than family) about these. Not that we could help! We are to do the teas for bowls this afternoon, attempting to use their new dish-washer. Machines HATE me, so we shall see. Enjoy your days.

Another soggy day, where is the sunshine?

NfkDumpling Tue 27-May-14 08:06:59

After a lovely un-forecast day yesterday, today they've got it spot on. It's horrible. Wet and windy. Dismantling our bit of the church flower festival this morning. Wonderfully successful with hundreds of visitors - it's nice to be appreciated.

Good morning everyone. According to the weather map heavy rain is threatened for our town. Yippee. Off to the dentist in a bit. Double yippee.

Morning all! We almost grew webbed feet yesterday with unremitting rain all day but it looks dry at the moment here in SE Hampshire. I think showers are forecast this afternoon, which will just be in time to soak me as I go for my annual asthma review with lovely Nurse Jill.

Happy days everyone and good luck with the dish-washer Printmiss! sunshine

Morning everyone. The sun has just this minute appeared and hopefully staying like this today.

DD1 and GD2 are coming for lunch after nursery then DH will collect GD1 from school so if the weather stays good the girls can have fun playing in the garden and we can end the day with dinner outside.

Your holiday will do you good Kitty. A well earned rest and a chance to recharge your batteries

Makes you feel like the most important person in the world doesn't it Dragonfly?

A grey, quiet, drizzly morning in Cheshire. The forecaster I heard on the radio - or was it TV? - last night said we were in for an 'unsettled' three weeks.

ninathenana Tue 27-May-14 08:31:57

Morning all.
Wet, but not actually raining at the moment in N.Kent but I'm not holding my breath.

Oldgreymare Tue 27-May-14 08:45:06

Hair cut and pedicure booked hope weather(and tum ) settles!

Dragonfly1 Tue 27-May-14 09:44:57

It's another gorgeous day here in Malta but I would swap with any of you lucky grans who have your DGC with you. Miss our little girl so much.

Hospital with DH this afternoon for his scan. Results take 48 hours so not too long to wait this time.

Hope you all enjoy your day sunshine

Lona Tue 27-May-14 09:58:15

Dull, still, slightly dampish but no real rain forecast for here today. Yesterday was glorious though, so we were lucky.

Agus Tue 27-May-14 10:09:27

That's exactly what I said when people asked why we were moving back from France Bella. GD1 had arrived back home in Scotland and at that point I realised there was more to life than sunshine.

Hope all goes well for your DH this afternoon.
