Last evening I attended the Big Big Sing in Perth. It was fabulous, fun and there were about 100 singers of all standards there, the best thing being you don't have to be able to read music. It is taking place all round the UK, and is all connected to The Commonwealth Games in Glasgow this summer.
The tutor last night was young (to me anyway), enthusiastic and had us singing, in four parts, songs from various Commonwealth countries.
If you are interested the web site is: www.bigbigsing.org.
Make sure you put org and not com (which is what I did) as it is a Chinese site
Oh and disabled folk are catered for which I think is another plus factor.
