Grey and a bit misty here too in. N-W London. Going out for Mother's Day tea this afternoon with the grand-children. My son likes to keep Mother's Day special for his wife but we will be seeing our daughter and my mother on Sunday plus the GCs other grand parents!

Good morning all, damp here too, but promise of brightness later on. Enjoyed our lunch yesterday with friends from the bowls club, shopping today (the excitement!) and pottering later on. Have no inclination to do anything much. Enjoy your days everyone.

Misty in East Sussex. Like many it's food shopping today. " what would you like to eat this weekend" I ask DH. " You choose" comes the reply EVERY week for the last 45 years. Grhhhhh!

Brenda I used to get similar from my boss at work - "Tea or coffee?" I would ask. "Whatever you're making". So I gave him both - in the same mug - tasted foul. He choose after that!

Happy Friday Everyone.

Good morning all. I have been for my morning swim so feeling niced and relaxed. Don't know how long it will last as have promised to take 86 year old mil out for lunch (these things come to try us).

The sun is shining on my part of Cheshire. Have a lovely day everyone.

Good morning all!!

A nothingy sort of day in North Leicestershire today but we have the threat of rain later and the promise of a lovely weekend!

Today my DGD3 is one and DGD4 is 6 months old so, to celebrate, DDs 1 and 3 and I are going out for lunch - we are taking DGS2 and DGD3 with us!

Enjoy your days everyone sunshine

Still dull but cold here in NW London. Since 4.30am this am my cat has tried to attract me attention by swiping items off my bedside table, scratching one of the bedside rugs (that works!) and opening or trying to my fitted wardrobe, doing a balancing act on top of the radiator, pawing my face with her sharp claws. She has no idea how close she is to be looking for a new home! She has retired to bed now that I am up, half asleep.

It's raining here (I was going to post that it's a big grey until I just looked out of the window).

We are off to do a big shop, quite a distance to go so may stay out for lunch as well.

Good morning all, after raining all night it is very cloudy this morning. The sun is trying to get through but it's not having much luck.

Food shopping for us as well, I'm lucky in that DH does most of the cooking but I still have to choose what we are having.

Good morning from a miserable north east. We have had torrential rain since last night and it promises to continue on and off all day.
Going to look after GC tonight as Mummy and Daddy both have meetings arranged for this evening. GD2 is told she may have three bedtime stories, she is quite clever at picking the longest ones she can find grin

Brenda, if I ask my DH to decide what we should have to eat he quite often says 'I dint know, shall we have a take away?' Good ruse on a lazy day grin
