Good morning everyone the last of the veg has just been done and packed up for shipping to DD's so a relaxing bath is the order of the day before Father Christmas arrives at DD's house.
Everyone on their own or has been affected by the weather take care of yourselves and come in for a chat & a or .

Good Morning from the North East coast . Just enjoying the peace and quiet and a nice cup of tea before setting off to visit DGC, DS and DDiL . Then dashing back to prepare dinner for the family.

My thoughts are with all of those who (for whatever reason) are spending Christmas away from their loved ones. Take care .

I'm so lucky and my thoughts are with everyone who is struggling with floods, non-travel (?) and loneliness.

Good morning and Happy Christmas to all of you. So many different Christmaseses being had too. Last year DH and I set off with dinner to share a meal with my housebound mum. Her last Christmas and rather melancholic. This year we're off for lunch to DD2 with SiL's family and our DS and his family too. Meal curtesy of M&S! And next year???

Good morning everyone - Happy Christmas to you all. Here it is still a bit damp but very mild. Out for lunch with friends but ten of us so we share the work - pudding simmering away - root veg peeled and almost ready for the oven - just the brussel sprouts to prepare for stir frying. Our neighbour has just been with a bag containing interesting looking things including eggs from her hens. Hope you all have satisfying days. X x

It is one of those beautiful days here - crisp, blue skies and sunshine. A gift. Off to DD and family soon - just a drive across the water. Theseus spent yesterday afternoon in the pub with "the boys" and has now renounced strong drink - at least for today. "The girls" and I drank in a certain moderation. Well, that's my story!

Beautiful day here. Various family members arriving early afternoon. Food is all under control and bahaving itself thus far. DD and SIL went to the village publast night and SIL seems to have arranged a village charity football match . DD is currently decorating [she's relentless]. Dog has had a long walk and is out for the count. It's all going far too well....Happy Christmas everyone.
