Alie this will explain what Humanism is. One big difference is that there are humanist ceremonies for naming, marriage (though in England this has to be preceded by a civil ceremony) and funerals.

Their quiz said I'm 93% Humanist - that's good because I put myself down as one in the census, under religion....
I looked for meetings a while ago, but couldn't get to any.

There do seem to be a lot of similarities.
