Yesterday I kept getting "problem with server" messages when I tried to get to Gransnet, though other sites were OK. It cleared itself after a while.

Latest on the builder's estimate is - we're still disappointed and confused. Anyway, now it's back to the drawing board, for Mr soop. We can hardly make the plan much smaller. Oh dearsoop - what have I misssed on the building plans front? I see you are talking about getting other quotes - always a good idea. Sometimes a builder will put in a very high quote becasue he doesn't actually want that particular job for whatever reason.
