Some of you will know that 5 years ago our eldest son had an awful, life changing stroke and, after 6 months in hospital in Japan, came home to live with us.
Last month, after many false starts, he was offered an adapted flat in a good position in town, approx 4 miles away. The local Headway team has been brilliant, decorating throughout, and he is having a great time buying furniture, carpets, curtains.
I'm so pleased for him and, strangely, pleased for us too! I thought I would worry about how he would cope but I am just pleased!
Now, all we need is middle daughter, husband and baby to complete their house purchase and move out and my husband and l will have the house to ourselves for the first time in 40 years!!
I hope we still like each other!!
