I thought it was just me, sometimes its seems as though my brain (yes I had typed Brian and had to delete) wont send the correct messages to my fingers and a load of gobbledy gook comes out, if I am tired my mouth does the same thing or is that after a glass of wine

Oh that's another one glass. Mr absent's first name is Brian and I am forever typing Brain in family e-mails. Maybe that's Freudian too.

My sons name is Christopher, when he was still at home I used to find myself writing Christopher instead Christmas, so much easier now when I just have to put us on. Saved a fortune on cards

I don't need to make typos now I've got an iPad! It makes its own up. This morning I sent a letter to my sister in a hurry, and fortunately read it once before pressing 'send.' I had typed that I was 'looking forward to see you soon' which changed into 'looking forward to seeing your moron!' It only needs one slip of the finger and the mischievous thing creates its own jokes!!

whenim64 Yes, I've heard that people get strange messages about crustaceans and many other things, some of which sounded very rude but turned out to be completely innocent. I don't have an iPad but am toying with the idea.

One of my most annoying things (apart from ; instead of '. e.g. don;t) is to find I have somehow slipped into capitals and whole ROWS NEED TO BE RETYPED

grace there is a shortcut to swop back to opposite case......but at the moment it has escaped me I will go away and try to remember.

I thought it was just me who couldn't type a single line on my touch pad without several errors. I put it down to stumpy fingers! I had to turn off the spelling checker because that was ridiculous!

grace I think its Ctrl and F3, not sure if it works on Word 2010, but give it a try.

Favourite ever spell check suggestion. I typed rellate - it suggested that i really meant to type fellate . Moral - always check your emails before you hit send.
I've got a Brain too. And he is a megabrain. Cap fits. DSs refer to him as Brain.

Spellcheck always queries tagliatelle – and suggests tailgate.
