Wild Fens Murder Mystery Series.

Has anyone read the books in this series? The author is Jack Cartwright.

I was recommended them by a friend, am reading the first in a (lengthy) series, but am finding it a bit Mills-and-Boon to be honest.

Not sure if I will read any more of the books, but will reserve judgement until I get to the end of this one.

I love the Joy Ellis “Fens” books. Haven’t read the ones you mentioned.

Agree with previous poster, I would definitely recommend the Joy Ellis Fens book series as well. In fact I have enjoyed all of her books.

Fens fans who missed it might also enjoy The Nine Tailors by Dorothy L Sayers. A Peter Wimsey mystery.
