Hi everyone. Wondering if anyone can recommend a suitably qualified company to treat dry rot in one of our downstairs rooms. Needs to be in the Lancashire area. Spoken to a couple of mortgage advisors and needs to be a Property Care Association registered company should we wish to sell in the future. Struggling to find anyone that we trust. Any suggestions welcomed!

Contact the Property Care Association www.property-care.org/ and ask for a list of members in your area

Hi Monica. Thanks for your suggestion. Had a survey from a couple of PCA contractors in the area but come up with slightly different remedies! Wondered if anyone had personally used a pca contractor who had completely got on top of the problem

There can be several different ways of dealing with a problem each equally successful

If they are all members of the PCA, that itself is an assurance. Check them out on Trustpilot. Then you just need to make a decison
