HSBC Scam?

I have a text message asking me to contact HSBC about a new payee on my account. We do not have any HSBC accounts so I assume this is a scam. Anyone else had this?

I had a similar one recently from Santander, we don’t have an account there either.

Did you know that there is a very new category for scams?

Yes I’ve had that one quite a few times. I don’t have an account with HSBC either.

I had it a few months ago but it was Halifax then . They must be working through them all!
