Does she read magazines on line or does she prefer the actual magazine itself?

Some online magazines come free with amazon prime (amazon prime on line reading).

I read House Beautiful on line (free)
but you can also subscribe to their magazine.
What does your DD already read or buy?

Prima is good for sewing and knitting projects.

Your Home has ideas that seem to be for modern houses, DIY projects, colour schemes, a bit of cooking.

Prima. Good variety of topics, articles a short story, and not pages and pages of adverts.

I like Woman and Home, a good mixture of topics.

I used to like 'She' a few years ago, and I'm fairly youngish now.

I thought Prima was aimed more at an older age group, though the patterns are good. I subscribe myself and the DDs have never shown any interest. They seem to like Grazia.

My children and their partners like Ideal Home magazine

I suppose I was hoping you might know of some for young mums with not much cash. A bit modern
Prima is ok. Funnily we were featured in it about 10 yrs ago.

I was thinking of the printed version. Too much time is spent on-line.

She is a keen homemaker, crafter and has a garden and small children.

Why not go to WH Smith or any good newsagent - even your local supermarket - and browse the magazines there until you see something she would like.

I'm not sure if you want a house-based magazine but if not, then Landscape is beautiful. It had gorgeous articles and photographs often with quotations and lines of poetry dotted through it.

Coast magazine is excellent

I think Prima would be just right for her. Pity they discontinued Essentials, DD and I preferred it to Prima. DD, (mid 30s) likes Ideal Home as well.

Thanks all. I had a look at the Ideal Home on-line and it looks as if it would be a practical one. Homes for real people rather than rich people.
However I do love to browse the beautiful magazines too.
