How do I find previous posts?

With great difficulty newquay.
I've been on Gransnet for 5 years and never succeeded in finding anything with the useless search facility.
I don't think it's just me, either

The thread is called Best Buy/ don't buy according to the search facility which took me straight to that thread I don't know if that's the one you are looking for

However when I put in Best Buy never buy it doesn't take me to that thread so I see what you janeainsworth

You can find most posts from the search box top right box on page.

I have more success with the top right search box than the 'search forums' one, which usually tells me that I am not watching any threads at the moment - wrong, and not what I asked for anyway!
If you have posted on the thread it is easier to find under 'I'm on'.

There are various threads on GN re Soup Makers.

Enter Soup Maker Threads into 'SEARCH' and they will pop up.

' SEARCH ' is a bit hit and miss and does not work all the time sadly but for Soup Makers it does.

If the results of the search facility came up in chronological order it would be helpful!

Or even if it were possibly to work out just what order they DO come up in. It seems to be random.

I've had great difficulty with the order hat results come up in!
I usually try other search words if I can.....

Try Google its worked for me in the past
just put in Gransnet plus what your looking for.
