Warmed through, buttered

Just halved and spread with cream cheese here.

Either warmed through or toasted as long as they are hot and oozing butter, (and accompanied by a cup of hot tea).

Nice and fresh and doughy, no grease (butter).

In the bin. Toasted cheese loaf and butter instead!

Lightly toasted with Lurpack butter.

Depends - if its breakfast- toasted if its tea -warmed.

Not toasted, or even warmed. Lots if butter. Tea.

Hot! The clue is in the title though the oozing with butter is not!! Fresh from the oven is best but I did not make any this year so it was toasted for me..just eaten it..... delicious local bakery concoction!

Warmed in the oven for 20 minutes so they're crispy on the outside and soft and steamy on the inside. Then buttered. Bliss!

I always find the bought ones too spicy so we have bara brith with butter instead. Home-made ones are very nice without the heavy dosing of mixed spice.

Cold, spread with Benecol, which is tastier than butter.

I prefer toasted teacakes, buttered. I haven't got any of those either, but I do have a creme egg to look forward to this afternoon.

Benecol, tastier than butter!! No, no. If you must have a substitute Clover is better.

No substitutions - butter only! Cows are for calves here so that we get beef and milk.
