A rainbow octopus…

…with his little Crablet friend.
I managed to find all those colours in my stash - 16 different ones for the tentacles - one or two are similar, though.
He’ll be off with the postman on Saturday.

It’s the designer of the pattern who’s talented! How anyone works these things out is always a wonder to me. Of course you can’t see it, but the flat base of the head and body divides precisely into 8 sections, so it’s easy to see exactly where to attach the tentacles.
