Oh what a lovely word - plumptiousness! I’m hoping to make him exceedingly plumptious once the stuffing arrives. It was coming RM so won’t be here till at least tomorrow now.

Funny you should post this today Witzend.
Eldest daughter, now in her 50s, has a collection of soft toys from her childhood, one being 'Tortie' a soft tortoise.
She decided to re-stuff him and when she opened him up found he was stuffed partly with scraps of dressmaking materials. Did I recognise them?
She sent me a photo of one piece and it's typical 60s colour and pattern, so not by me as I didn't dressmake in the 60s - no time. I did make a few of their soft toys.
ps have you got an old pillow or cushion could you open up and use?

I think all our cushions and pillows are feather, Fennel. Stuffing should arrive tomorrow, I hope!
