I've just been on the Sport Relief website and I was aghast to see that half the home page is taken up with a photo of a small girl wearing a hijab. I assume she's in somewhere like Nigeria where maybe they force children to cover themselves up but I fail to see why we should be promoting such conservative attitudes in this country. I have nothing against young women choosing to wear the hijab but brainwashing little children into artificial modesty really rankles with me. I don't think I'll be donating, I'm afraid.
