They often don't tell you if the goods are coming from China. Then the delivery date is changed to about 3-4 weeks hence, and you get a very badly written e-mail to say they are coming from China. By sea I suppose. I just cancel the order

Before I order anything, I always check and double-check on the right hand side of the page if ordering from Amazon direct, or on the end column if using another buyer, and it tells you where it's being sent from. The postage and customs on some items from overseas that I've wanted to buy make your hair stand on end. It might take longer to source your items, but it's worth checking.

I am furious with Amazon. Wrongly delivered parcel again. I managed to get them on the phone, cancelled the order AND demanded and God a full refund for my Prime membership. £79 coming back to me! Trouble is, I did want the item!

I've never had a problem with deliveries but they did sign me up to Prime without my knowledge. The first I knew was when my account went overdrawn because they'd taken £79 from my PayPal account which in turn drew it from my bank account.

I phoned, played hell especially when they said I must have agreed, demanded and go my refund.

Fortunately I have an arrangement with my bank that if my account drops below a certain level they send me a text so the money went out and back in on the same day.

Amazon gave me my full prime membership refund today, although it was couriers fault. Feel a bit guilty now, but fed up with failed deliveries!

I was badly let down by Amazon Prime this weekend. Ordered something on July 8th for grandson's 6th birthday on July 11th.

Prime promised to deliver next day, Saturday. Nothing arrived but email said it would come on the Sunday. Was cross at delay and broken promise but thought at least it will still be here for his birthday.

Nothing on Sunday. By this time upset and very cross.

Was told by customer services that Amazon Logistics (their carrier) was experiencing problems and I could have a full refund.

Couldn't get him to understand I didn't want a refund, didn't want his apologies, just wanted my goods. Like talking to a brick wall.

I have been a member of Prime for years and I have never had a failed delivery. I had 2 parcels delivered at the same time today for which I was grateful.

That's fine Charley - let's hope you don't experience my near disappointment at letting my grandson down on his 6th birthday.

The annoying part was I could have sourced his present elsewhere had I not replied on Amazon Prime, and only resolved the situation by scouring the internet and ringing up shops until I found one within driving distance on the Monday so he could have his present when he finished school.
