Hi, just a general question. I was wondering during if anyone had used a reliable dating site for over 60's . It's something I'm thinking of trying but very nervous.
DH's favourite "oh sugar plum fairies". ?. I've never bothered with mumsnet. I found this site when looking for answers to a Google question which I can't remember now.
Mumsnet can be hysterical love it. It was from that site I found this one. I look at both a few times a week. Gransnet can get a bit too political at times, which tbh puts me off. As for the expletives well I think they are OK, its everyday life now.
To answer the OP, Mumsnet is the parent, we are the offshoot. We are second class citizens as the Mumsnet platform has much better features than Gransnet. No idea why these don't apply to both.
I know that if I were to mention anything to my daughter in relation as to how she or her husband speak she would tell me to duck off It won’t be long before your granddaughter hears this at school. What are you going to do the then? speak to the school?
Really? Granddaughter aged 5 just told me daddy uses the rude word to mummy (that sounds like duck) when he’s cross. Just pondering whether to mention to parents or not. Don’t want friction with SIL. What would you do?
