New thread.

EllieAnne Thu 30-Jul-26 15:23:45

Never listen cassie but I feel sorry for her now.

Calendargirl Fri 31-Jul-26 06:48:32

The Corrie private ambulance on standby round the corner yet again, phew!

Shame they didn’t realise Asha and Sienna were close by, they could have been drafted in to help poor Tracey.

Where is Doctor Gaddas by the way? Haven’t seen her for ages.

Probably retired, exhausted by running a one woman medical practice, handing out leaflets, doing home visits after same day appointments for most of Weatherfield…..

Who did Idris pay Brody to ‘sort out’? I thought it was going to be Adam but apparently not 🤷‍♀️

Charleygirl5 Fri 31-Jul-26 07:02:13

I assume I live too far away to register? It appears to be the dream GP surgery.

At least sport hasn't interrupted this week's viewing.

BlueBelle Fri 31-Jul-26 07:05:29

And what’s Asha’s girlfriend’s secret I expect it will build and build and then be a nothing !
I don’t know who Brady sorted out either ?
Will they ever discover the ‘real gun’ and how Jody arrived ??? Will she ever go she’s like a bad smell
Have nt seen Debbie and Karl and Ron lately ?
I don’t mind the beards it’s the trend now anyway but I used to think Adam was such a handsome chap but he’s ’gone off’ hasn’t he.

Astitchintime Fri 31-Jul-26 07:47:52

……..and how Jody arrived ??? Maybe Graham from Emmerdale will show up during one of his mysterious absences from the Yorkshire Dales to make Jody ‘disappear’ ?? Imagine him strolling along the cobbles in his dark suit and immaculate white shirt……make a change to Tyrone and Kirk’s tee shirts I guess?!

Watching an old Midsomer Murders.

‘Ross’ is in it, looking a bit younger, but still very recognisable, and with his own hair.

Pre wig.

EllieAnne Mon 03-Aug-26 22:21:11

So what’s he done with Cassie?

nanaK54 Mon 03-Aug-26 22:22:26

What do we think he has done with Cassie?

Fizz is on to him I think.

Would anyone actually give care of their teenage girls and little boy to someone who is really a complete stranger.

How utterly gorgeous is Dorin!

Poor Betsy and Dylan...

Calendargirl Tue 04-Aug-26 06:58:03

Never rated Betsy, but think she’s doing a great job now, acting wise.

Wonder if her potential stroke is why she changed her hair colour, to stop having to keep colouring it? (If she did, of course).

Ryan is playing a good role as well, sympathetic and sensible, but obviously more detached than Lisa with her manic eyes.

As for Cassie, who knows? Yet another murder???

And I really don’t think Tracy is desperate enough for a new man to hook up with sleazy Ross, with his wig.

Jodieb Tue 04-Aug-26 14:06:46

As if Cassie would have got in the car with him!

Calendargirl Tue 04-Aug-26 16:08:13

But if she thought Tracy had reported her to the police….?

Plus how was she to know Steve was just round the corner, ready to forgive her (again)?

sad

Last night's episode was really good in that it showed dementia at its awful worst. No wonder Debbie rushed to her laptop to look up assisted dying.

I'm looking forward to seeing how this storyline pans out.

Bukkie Tue 04-Aug-26 18:25:17

Lovely Ryan needs a lovely lady. I too warmed to Cassie after a slow start. Her and Hope were two of a kind and developing a good relationship.

Beechnut Tue 04-Aug-26 19:27:46

Ruby never seems to get a story line of her own, or have I missed something?

Bukkie Tue 04-Aug-26 21:34:42

Wasn't Ruby the one sending Hope horrible messages online?

BlueBelle Tue 04-Aug-26 22:09:37

Lovely Ronnie and lovely Debbie tonight

JenniferEccles Wed 05-Aug-26 14:54:19

I’ve read that the actress who plays Cassie is leaving to appear in the musical Annie.

She may possibly then return after that.

sodapop Wed 05-Aug-26 15:14:59

I do wish Lauren would listen to Betsy and not just make assumptions based on her own experiences. Lisa also.

Aveline Wed 05-Aug-26 16:50:34

That's human nature though sodapop

sodapop Wed 05-Aug-26 21:20:57

I know Aveline it's so frustrating for Betsy though ( think I'm getting over involved in the story line) Finally tonight Lauren has understood a bit more.

Calendargirl Thu 06-Aug-26 06:40:34

Sienna’s mother’s dementia was only mentioned the other day, now they are visiting what I assume are care homes or day centres.

Surely they would be going to the GP and getting her properly assessed, particularly as Sienna works for the NHS and must know what procedures are involved?

BlueBelle Thu 06-Aug-26 06:49:35

Do we know she has nt been assessed though Calandergirl it’s only been a story the last couple of episodes Just because she’s living at home doesn’t mean she hasn’t been assessed

Doodledog Thu 06-Aug-26 08:15:10

I agree. Betsy was about to head off to university and an independent life, then after the accident her mum prevents her from seeing her boyfriend when she’s not able to do so off her own bat. That’s abusive, not caring, IMO.

Aveline Thu 06-Aug-26 08:39:49

Betsy is acting her head off! I'd no idea how good she was before this. An interesting storyline and well done by all.
