I often look to see if there’s a new series and there never is but tonight on BBC 4 after Villages By the Sea they said, in the way they often suggest similar programmes, to check out Wales Home of the Year. Assumed it was the old series but it’s a new one. Sort of programme I like to have on in the background when I’m doing the neverending decluttering

Thanks for the heads up, MayBee - I love this series. The first home, in Neath, is pretty wacky!

It’s quite different to Scotlands Home of the Year in which the houses are much posher!

Yes, you’re right - interesting though!
Not keen on the shorts the female judge has taken to wearing!

I was going to mention that! imo she's too old to dress like that, whereas the lady on the Scottish version dresses wonderfully quirky. I found it very distracting, but she always wears weird clothes. I must admit that I prefer the judges on the Scottish version. My favourite is the Irish one though, but it upsets me to watch it now that Hugh Wallace has died. I loved him.

Yes, the Scottish judges are very stylish. Haven’t seen the Ireland series - can’t see it on iPlayer.
