2 weeks in August.

I've just finished watching it. Actually worth sticking with the story which dealt with relationships and how every action has a consequence.
The Greek scenery is beautiful.
My only criticism is, I felt the story could have been told in six rather than eight episodes.

I keep trying to find time to watch this on iPlayer, for the simple reason that I loved Hugh Skinner in W1A and its follow up 2026, and want to see if he can do something other than portray a sweet idiot (albeit brilliantly). He and Hugh Bonneville are great together in both series, although Skinner didn't feature as much in 2026.

It had a good review on Must Watch which means I’ve got to give it a go. I usually like the things that they recommend.

I quite liked it, relationships, sun sand and lots of wine on a Greek Island.Being British tv hardly any actual eating going on, even by the kids ( who in my experience never stop munching on holiday.)I know it’s hard to eat and act at the same time but Italian and French tv series seem to manage it.
In the recent series The Fortune nobody eats anything at all.
I won’t do any spoilers but Two Weeks In August is def worth a view.

I have 2 episodes to go. It's a change from my usual genre and I'm quite enjoying it.

I found it to be quite watchable but a little bit slow and boring. It showed clearly why it is quite stressful going on holiday with other families that you can’t get away from.

I've looked it up. That was "A fortnight in September" - a very different story!

I think I remember it being serialised on Radio 4. I enjoyed it as a nice uneventful "atmospheric" story, without much happening.
