New thread.

Doodledog Sat 11-Apr-26 21:01:27

Thank you. I wouldn’t have known about it.

Another episode tomorrow night (Sunday) 7.30.

Astitchintime Sat 11-Apr-26 16:44:55

“Carl’s remorse came across as sincere last night. But I still wouldn’t trust him not to clean her out financially if he’s able to influence her decision making. As her son and heir I’m sure he already has his sights on the hotel.”

Carl is about as sincere as a dose of the ‘flu! He’s using every opportunity to keep Debbie on side……the dancing in the hotel lounge might have looked unfeigned but he has got his eyes on inheriting the hotel…….Dreadful man! Time he had his comeuppance! I’d like to think he’d get a good hiding but then I’d be seen to be promoting violence ….and that wouldn’t do would it??

Doodledog Sat 11-Apr-26 16:37:24

I know what you mean. I don't want Todd to leave, and I'm also getting more fond of Gary, although I think he needs a decent storyline. He's looking like someone who might come to Todd's defence, and that would put him at risk too.

Charleygirl5 Sat 11-Apr-26 16:13:08

I afraid and if Theo hits Todd I hope Todd is careful with retaliation because I don't want to see him behind bars,

EllieAnne Fri 10-Apr-26 16:38:50

I ‘m really worried for Todd.. Theo is evil.

Dylis Fri 10-Apr-26 13:27:07

Surely Debbie's hand would be completely bandaged. Im not sure how she could carry something without using her thumbs!
I'm finding it difficult to know when Sam is hallucinating or if Will is actually there.

nanaK54 Fri 10-Apr-26 11:46:36

Could someone give me shout please when the Theo/Todd storyline is over...I can't watch it anymore (we all know that I will really - deep sigh).

Calendargirl Fri 10-Apr-26 09:30:54

Good thinking about a POA Granny.

That’s the sort of useful stuff they could highlight.

Plus since marrying, she and Ronnie should be re-writing their wills anyhow…..

Grannynannywanny Fri 10-Apr-26 07:13:48

This would be an ideal scenario for the Corrie writers to get across the importance of having a POA in place. Ronnie needs to do it now while Debbie is still able to understand and agree to it.

Carl’s remorse came across as sincere last night. But I still wouldn’t trust him not to clean her out financially if he’s able to influence her decision making. As her son and heir I’m sure he already has his sights on the hotel.

Charleygirl5 Thu 09-Apr-26 07:10:38

When I saw the stupid bandages my first thought was she would never manage to go to the loo. That is not how a hand is bandaged. Each finger would have been treated separately.

Calendargirl Thu 09-Apr-26 06:51:22

So now Jodie has filched Lisa’s warrant card?

Lisa is not much of a detective, leaving her police bag lying around for anyone to look at.

No worries about confidentiality in the Street.

Doodledog Wed 08-Apr-26 22:59:50

Plates can’t have been hot enough to need all those bandages, can they?

Yes, I wondered if Sam was imagining things, too.

Grannynannywanny Wed 08-Apr-26 21:05:25

I wondered if Sam was hallucinating when he was running from Will last night and perhaps again tonight when they were in the park.

However, I can’t concentrate on any of that as all my focus is on Debbie’s hand bandages. What are they going to look like after a week if she’s just about to eat spaghetti bolognese for dinner.

Calendargirl Wed 08-Apr-26 20:44:50

Why did Sam not take a photo of Will and Megan together?

Oh, of course, he threw his phone away when he thought Daniel had done something to it.

But surely he’s got a new one by now?

Doodledog Wed 08-Apr-26 19:12:52

I don't find Debbie convincing at all. I know she is very popular, but she does nothing for me.

Aveline Wed 08-Apr-26 17:13:06

You easily might! Places are keen to keep customers happy and avoid bad reviews. It was only cava anyway. £7.99 money well spent if it works.

Clawdy Wed 08-Apr-26 16:16:25

Far too many dislikeable characters now. And yes, that scene with Debbie and the diners was cringey. And as if you would get a free bottle of champagne just like that!

Bukkie Wed 08-Apr-26 11:00:50

I too love Debbie but just wanted tonight's scences with her to stop and lead her away.

Bukkie Wed 08-Apr-26 10:59:48

And Beverley Callard is also in I am a Celeb South Africa which was filmed a few weeks ago. I hope I read it wrong about her having breast cancer. She looks fabulous for 68.

Grannycool52 Wed 08-Apr-26 10:52:29

FYI, Beverley Callard is currently working on the Irish soap "Fair City" in Dublin.

nanaK54 Wed 08-Apr-26 08:42:52

Calendargirl

Pity she didn’t stay tied up!

grin grin grin

Calendargirl Wed 08-Apr-26 07:58:12

Pity she didn’t stay tied up!

BlueBelle Wed 08-Apr-26 07:15:16

I love Debbie and her acting but that was NOT good tonight Debbie totally over acted and it was all so unbelievable
I didn’t enjoy it either
I watch Emmerdale too and I m sure Graham a character in there mentioned Jodie tonight so maybe we are close to learning about why she was tied up in the van

Calendargirl Wed 08-Apr-26 07:05:16

Yes, the Debbie incident was completely OTT.

Ryan should have called Ronnie to come in and deal with it.
