Are there elements in it, sex and violence, that mean it has to be shown later?

Back to The War Between Land and Sea (!) I wouldn't say it's a children's programme, but it is certainly a family show. When I saw it advertised, I presumed it would be in the traditional family slot leading up to Christmas. Programmes such as the Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe, the Golden Compass etc. have been shown at 5 or 6pm on the Sundays leading up to Christmas. Scheduling it at 9pm is bizarre. There are few enough family viewing opportunities as it is, I think it's a shame that 'Children's TV' has become separated from mainstream.

I think my last post is in the wrong place! I’m sure I placed it correctly, but clearly not!

Has anyone else noticed that, whenever someone is interviewed indoors, 90% of the time, they are seated in front of a bookcase? Why? It seems strange that this is so popular. Apart from anything else, I find I don’t really listen to what is being said - I am too busy trying to see the titles of the books they like!

It is science fiction. If you don't like that genre, then you are unlikely to enjoy this.

I think its a serious subject and interesting but it looked so ridiculous I couldn't be bothered.

I enjoyed it, and there was the added bonus of John Pertwee with the Sea Devils earlier in the evening.

Far fetched and unbelievably silly. We switched off after 20mins

We didn't bother because we thought it was a spin-off from Dr Who, a children's programme.

Sunday evening viewing, 9pm?
Why?

Why is a kids’ programme being aired on prime time TV?
I gave it a chance but it’s not for me.

Yes just watched. Makes you think what we’re doing to our planet.
