Radio 3 "Calm Classics"/Class ic FM's similar.

I'm loving this new channel. Really relaxing classical and some contemporary music on while I do bits and bobs but dont want speech radio in my ear. (and of course...no adverts). My favourite is still Classic FM Calm classics every night from 10pm to 1am and I love Ritula Shah.

Anyone else find it and enjoy it?

Thanks for posting. I didnt know about that channel and as I have listened to Classic FM since it started it sounds just up my street.

Its up my street because in the daytime classic FM plays a lot of music I don't like atm, the rousing busy element.

And R3 has some "modern classical" stuff I just cant get along with although I'm very musical.

I'm not into deliberate unsettling discord particularly. I used to like R3's night programme a great deal, but it's gone more sort of challenging and, not late at night, thank you.

The late night R3 used to play quite a lot of world music but its changed.

I have a subscription to U tube, as well, it now makes up playlists for you based both on what you started with and what you have played a lot.

So now on U tube you only get sponsored ads at the beginning of your whole listening sequence if you shell out - its currently £12.99 a month, first 3 months free.
