Wincey Willis has passed away

Awh that's sad, I still think of her as a young un!

Wincey - I loved watching you on tv. You were a ray of sunshine regardless of the weather on which you were reporting. Rest in peace, lovely lady. You did good!!

I remember her most for her appearances on "Treasure Hunt" which we watched as a family when my childrem were quite young.

Wincey, sorry my phone autocorrected the spelling. I hate to see names spelt wrong.

I think Winsey Willis is one of the best names we have had a presenter. So memorable

I remember Wincey and her big smile.
A funny memory of her was when she presenting the weather once and they’d done a feature on David Bowie who it appears she was a huge fan of, they panned to Wincy and she was fanning herself she said ‘please excuse me while I go wipe myself down with a wet sporting life’. Cracked me up and I’ll never forget it. Lovely lady RIP

Sad news. She was a favourite of my dad’s, partly because she hailed from his neck of the woods, but also because she always came across as so likeable. RIP.
