Billie Piper played a former Doctor ‘s ( played by Tennant?) assistant called Rose.So quite how she can be regenerated as an actual Doctor is only known to the writer.The BBC moves in mysterious ways.

We agree Grandmabatty it’s been patchy, Russell T Davies being very PC to say the least.

Jaxjacky I love Dr Who and was sad when it stopped after Sylvester McCoy. When they brought it back with Christopher Eccleston and Russell T, I was thrilled. It seemed to have an exciting vibe about it. Recently, however, I feel it's lost it's way

I had heard he was leaving but Billie was a complete surprise! I don't think Ncuti was given enough to do. His acting is excellent but often the scripts let him down. The Disney effect maybe? The final episode had everything thrown at it bar the kitchen sink! Why bring back Omega for mere minutes? There were a lot of inconsistencies too.
