Jane43 I've just rewatched ‘A Very English Scandal’ and enjoyed it even more the second time. Hugh Grant and Ben Whishaw were superb.

I well remember the schoolboy jokes about Christine Keeler, the activity is nothing new and only came to prominence because Profumo was defence minister and the Russians were connected.

More likely to get exposed these days.

Mary59nana they weren’t called ‘the swinging sixties’ for nothing were they? There is also a very good drama about the Jeremy Thorpe scandal, ‘A Very English Scandal’ with Hugh Grant and Ben Whishaw, I may watch it again.

Both actors were very good and isnt it shocking what they all got up to ??

Also Emila Fox played a good part.
I like her in Silent witness.

I watched this last week, I had watched it when it was first on tv but enjoyed watching it again. The girl who played Christine was very good and so was James Norton as Stephen Ward.
