I have just finished watching a film documentary called ‘Navalny’ about the Russian opposition leader who died in February 2024 in a brutal Siberian prison. You will all remember he was poisoned with Novichok by the Russian Security Services and recovered in Germany. This film is compulsive viewing, shocking and yet a tribute to an amazing man. I had to sit in silence and bite my lip to stop myself from crying.
