I am so fortunate to have wonderful memories of my grandparents, I was the only grandchild on both sides for many years (my parents didn’t have siblings)

I think that is the reason I do so much with my GC, I want them to have precious memories to carry forward through their lives.

I remember being taken to see this as a small child. One of my strongest memories of it is needing the toilet and my Mum being furious!

That’s such a wholesome memory! Parades like that really have a way of connecting us to the past, don’t they? Nothing beats the charm of a marching band it’s like a soundtrack to nostalgia.
