Joan new drama ITV1 Sunday evening

I've just watched it all on ITVX. Thoroughly enjoyable!

I'm enjoying Joan very much. Love the attention to detail of clothing, hairstyles etc for the period. Great acting too.

Agree BlueBelle its quite a different style of drama and yes Sophie/Joan is a talented actress...hope the real Joan is pleased with how she is portrayed

I ve watched two episodes and love it I think her acting is great I ve never seen her before as far as I know but she’s good very pretty lady Best drama I ve seen in a long time

My son told me she was in the game of thrones(neither of us watch it) but also in a marvel film or some such, but more famously for being married to one of the Jonas brothers (i always get them mixed up) He divorced her because she always wanted to go out partying but he just wanted to stay home with the kids! (Apparently)😐Son said it was all in the news at the time.As for Joan, she was quite good in it i think, but as i binge watched it over 2 nights, i wont spoil it, but personally i think ending was obvious what was coming, and i was a bit dissapointed.I think its so they can bring it back if it gets good reviews.

I am watching it on catch up I think she buried the diamonds under spaghetti junction, believe me you would not walk there a woman on her own and dressed like she was. Tough men went in two’s.

I’m watching it and have got to episode 4 on itvx .
Sophie Turner is really good in this . I love that she can transform herself with wigs , makeup and accents .
I’m also loving the 80s clothes and music .

Just watched the first one on my iPad and enjoyed it she’s playing a great part

I'm enjoying it. I don't know how anyone can swallow diamonds. I have enough trouble swallowing my pills.

If you have itvX you can binge watch…as it’s still raining here in THE MIDLANDS, am going to see if I can watch as much as I can 👌

I’m loving this, we are just about to start episode 4. I didn’t realise this was based on a true autobiography and that Joan is alive and well and living in England!

A good story (I didn't know it was a true story) extremely well acted. Very believable. An insight into the lives of people who have had a less than happy start in life and the consequences that can sometimes
follow.

I’m glad I’ve started to watch this. The first 2 episodes were so interesting and well acted and I’m looking forward to the rest. I can’t watch ahead as DH likes to watch programmes when they are “on!”

I am enjoying this too, thought it was two parts but next episode is at the weekend I think. Well worth a watch.

Wouldn’t be surprised if she doesn’t get an award for Joan. Never seen her before this.

Love the way some dramas use the soundtrack to tell a story. Just watching series 2 of Funny Woman. A real treat. Joan is next on my list!

I enjoyed it, I' think I'll be sticking with it, I dump so many drama series after a couple or so episodes. I've never seen Sophie Turner before, having read about her. Game of Thrones has passed me by, I thought she was good in the part.

I tuned in last night but it is not for me I'm afraid.

It is a true story, no doubt enhanced for TV.

The real Joan was involved with the production and is alive and kicking.

It's good, but how the children suffer when mother is in a bad relationship.

It’s very good.

I enjoyed it too and will watch tomorrow.

I didn’t think I’d like it but I’m looking forward to tomorrow’s episode.
