Watched this the other night. Saw it advertised on Ch4 and thought it was a new historical series but turned out to be a Ridley Scott film. As with The Promised Land found it a bit confusing ( I’m useless at working out what’s happening plot wise) but I stuck with it because of the cast. I can watch Jodie Cormer in anything and it’s another historical film based on a true story. There is a very brutal jousting scene at the end which some people might find difficult to watch ( I’m Game of Thrones hardened so I was ok with it). It is in three parts from three peoples perspectives which made it interesting. I’m glad I stuck with it. In fact, watched it again last night.
